Good morning,The City of DuBois honored two local men for helping rescue a person whose kayak capsized at Treasure Lake last month. Officials recognized Tony Volpe and Kolten Bojalad for quickly responding to the emergency and helping save the victim from dangerously cold water.Meanwhile, DuBois city officials say they hope to hire a permanent city manager by early June. The city has narrowed a field of 21 applicants and plans to hold public meet-and-greet sessions with the final candidates later this month.And organizers are getting ready for this year’s Curwensville Days celebration at Irvin Park.
