Good morning.The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is asking for your help in locating a wanted man after a lengthy search on Tuesday. 36-year-old Timothy Ryan Irvine fled on foot from a home in Warsaw Township, sparking a nine-hour manhunt through thick brush. Irvine is 5-foot-6 with a slim build and dark hair. He was last seen shirtless in blue jeans and likely has cuts on his face and arms. Authorities say he is not considered armed or violent, but if you see him, do not engage. Call the Sheriff’s Office at 814-849-1617.In local education, taxpayers in the DuBois Area School District won't see an increase on their bills next year. Despite a 14 percent spike in healthcare costs and rising special education expenses, the district’s proposed 77-million-dollar budget for 2026-27 holds the line on taxes by utilizing reserve funds. The school board is expected to vote on the final plan tomorrow night.And a Brockway man is behind bars after allegedly stealing a truck in DuBois because he was "late for a wedding." City police arrested 34-year-old Alexander Foltz on Monday after he reportedly took a Chevy Silverado from a home on West DuBois Avenue while the owner was inside. Police used Ring camera footage to track Foltz to a backyard on Fairview Avenue. He now faces felony counts of theft and receiving stolen property.
