Good morning,Passenger traffic at the DuBois Regional Airport has hit a five-year low, prompting concern from airport officials. Despite an impressive ninety-eight percent reliability rate from Southern Airways Express, only about seven hundred passengers used the airport in April. To boost numbers, the airline has slashed prices, offering one-way tickets to Pittsburgh for nineteen dollars and Washington Dulles for thirty-nine dollars, if booked three weeks in advance.Meanwhile, families across Elk and Cameron counties are celebrating the wrap-up of the month-long "Remake Learning" program. Sponsored by the local Community Education Center, the wizard-themed event drew hundreds of families downtown for hands-on activities, including paper airplane flight schools and outdoor science quests.And the DuBois Country Club will host the annual Champions of the PA Wilds Awards next month.
